Work, a renowned Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over 30 years of practice in Atlanta, the resort reflects his artistry, ambition, and passion for creativity. After retiring from his celebrated medical career, Dr. Work set out to combine his love for design and the ocean into a personal paradise.
Dr. Work’s journey began along the Gulf Coast of Florida, but it was the search for tranquility and inspiration that led him southward to Placencia, Belize. There, on a stretch of breathtaking white sand dotted with over 30 coconut palms, he discovered the perfect canvas for his vision. What began as a retirement home evolved into a boutique luxury resort that embodies his meticulous attention to detail.
