We had a wonderful time staying at Villas at Playa de Coco for a long weekend trip! The room had everything we needed and the outdoor shower was an added bonus. The staff were all so incredibly kind and helpful. We really appreciated Dale taking extra steps to be sure we got the most out of our experiences and tours! RandB19 days agoI planned my wife's birthday celebration at the Villas at Playa De Coco in Placencia, and it exceeded every expectation. The rooftop party was beautiful, and the bonfire made for a perfect, relaxing evening. The food and drinks at the restaurant and bar were great all week. Dale went above and beyond throughout our stay, and Diego, Natasha, Natalia, Nick, and Camisha were warm, attentive, and welcoming. Ondi Imbo31 days agoVillas Playa de Coco was such a beautiful and relaxing stay. The oceanfront location creates a peaceful, serene atmosphere, with gorgeous views, hammocks, and private pools available with select villas. I stayed in the Savannah Studio and loved the thoughtful touches, especially the indoor and outdoor showers, in-room washer/dryer, and automatic shades for added comfort and privacy. The staff truly elevated the experience. Communication was incredibly easy, and having a personal walkie-talkie to reach the team was such a convenient touch. Dale was a wonderful driver and an insightful resource on local culture, Diego was always smiling and eager to help, and the front desk team made sure every detail was handled. And let me not forget the entire restaurant team—they took care of everyone and did their best even when there was a full house! Benjamin Ceballos37 days agoGreat place, we stayed for 2 night on the Palmetto Studio, and it was great, it has a nice balcony, outdoor and indoor shower, all the necessary amenities including washer and drier that came very handy, it has a fully equip kitchen as well. The restaurant was top notch with probably the best view of Placencia, the food was delicious I recommend the risotto and for breakfast the avocado toast or the Belizean breakfast, you won't be disappointed, oooh and fro drink the amaretto sour. the staff is very nice, the beach are well maintained. this please is 10 out of 10, 100% recommended.+5Posted on Google

Carlo Anton Fontenot59 days agoWe thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day/4 night stay at the Villas at Playa de Coco resort. The entire property was absolutely stunning and beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. One person in particular, Dale, seemed to be a Swiss Army knife with all of the roles he played! Dale was our driver, tour guide, and karaoke director! The owner, Fred Work, M.D., was also present and approachable. Dr. Work checked in with us multiple times to make certain that all of our needs were being met. Cannot say enough about the immaculate grounds of the resort and the beautiful views from multiple locations the property. The white sand beach was constantly attended to so that it always looked pristine. The resort featured an elevator to the rooftop restaurant, a brick oven pizza oven, and a glass walkway connecting the restaurant seating area to the event center. A full breakfast each morning was included with our stay. A tour of Placencia and Hopkins was curated for us by Dale! We had the opportunity to hear from the recognized, 85 year-old historian of Hopkins. The resort also had golf carts available to rent at a much better price than the local businesses. We highly recommend that you consider staying at Villas at Playa de Coco resort if you plan to visit Belize.+25Posted on Google

Shoutout to Dale for showing us different fruits in Placencia and teaching us how to play dominoes! Thank you to all the restaurant staff for always making our nights joyful with tasty food! Lilly Selgado74 days agoWe had a wonderful 4 nights stay in the coconut room next to the pool and it was so nice an cozy everyone was so sweet the beautiful lady at the front desk greeted us with a warm welcome an the entire staff was amazing.....it was the best little birthday get away ..was a little disappointed no one gave me a birthday song or cake but to the beautiful lady who made sure I got it the night before I left you made it a very memorable one i wish I remember her name i appreciate you ❤️ Highly recommend Villas at Playa de Coco to anyone visiting Belize tho Between the most stunning view ,excellent food, outstanding staff, and great location, it exceeded our expectations and created memories we’ll always cherish ....will definitely be visiting again...Posted on Google

Misty Bever95 days agoOur stay at Villas at Playa de Coco was outstanding from beginning to end. The accommodations were luxurious, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the beautiful views made it the perfect place to relax. We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating area, the convenient proximity to both the pool and the beach, and the spacious shower. The food was consistently delicious, and the location made it easy to explore the area, including the convenience of renting a golf cart right on-site. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. Natalia, Stephanie, and another wonderful team member whose name I unfortunately can’t remember were always on top of everything. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect, quickly resolving any questions or issues and offering excellent recommendations for excursions and local activities. A very special thank you goes to Dale, who went above and beyond in every possible way. Whether helping with transportation, answering questions, offering recommendations, or making sure every detail was taken care of, he truly did it all. His dedication, professionalism, and genuine kindness made a lasting impression on our family. He deserves the highest accolades for providing exceptional service. Jay130 days agoWhat a fantastic place to stay! This facility is small, modern, and new, with immense potential to become the best spot in Placencia. We enjoyed a delightful two-night stay before transferring across the street to Tradewinds Villa Selena, and I have to say, this place exceeded our expectations! The rooftop dining was a highlight of our trip. The menu offered everything from a delicious Belizean breakfast to wood-fired pizza. It was the perfect way to start the day or unwind in the evening, especially with the Karaoke! We were fortunate to have access to the private pools for the villas during our stay when they weren't in use—they offered stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the convenience of onsite golf cart and ATV rentals, along with shuttle service, really enhanced our experience. A special shoutout to Dale and Stephanie on the staff! Their attentiveness and helpfulness made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back! This was an unexpected surprise find in Belize, and we can't recommend it enough!+5Posted on Google

Marcia Jones156 days agoI had a lovely time. I loved my suite. The hospitality was amazing. If there was anything that required attention, the staff addressed it immidately. The staff was courteous and kind. Everyone, from the restaurant to the cleaning staff. I loved the walkie-talkie that allowed us to order food poolside. I loved our pool. I appreciate the daily and timely housekeeping. I will definitely return, and allow myself to appreciate Placencia more at a slower pace.Posted on Google

Rachel Schrunk172 days agoAbsolutely LOVED our experience at Villas Playa De Coco! We were there for only 2 nights but wished we were able to stay longer! Our first night we stayed in the Palmetto, considered a standard room but even though it was “standard” it was beautiful! You have the option to take an inside or outside shower with rainfall shower heads! Washer and dryer in the room, huge bonus for us. The second night we stayed in the Majesty, this space is 4 separate rooms with shared kitchen and living area and private pool. (We/I decided wanted to upgrade) The kitchen was stocked with modern amenities, everything you need to cook if you wanted. Although the kitchen and living area is “shared” we were lucky enough to have the entire place to ourselves. Perfect for our next family vacation and to top it all off, the ocean view - STUNNING. The bar and restaurant, fantastic view, drinks and pizza, AMAZING! Can not wait to go again!!! One more thing, the staff, especially Stephanie, AMAZING!!Posted on Google

Kim Luckasevic208 days agoThe Villas at Playa de Coco was even more beautiful and impressive in person. The staff of Sadie, Stephanie, Magdaleno, Alex, Christian, Dale, and Kamisha were like family. There is also much to do if that is on your itinerary, from diving, snorkeling, and boating, but I loved the hammocks and huts on the beach and the infinity pool outside of my room. I met new friends and as a solo female traveler, I never questioned being cared for. Five huge stars and I will be back!+6Posted on Google
Dan Corkill209 days agoHad a wonderful experience at the Villas at Playa de Coco. Stayed a week in the big suite at Majesty Villa with 3 teens. View, staff and facilities were incredible. We made use of the complementary kayaks, bikes and paddleboards. We ate regularly at the rooftop hotel as well as some of the surrounding properties. Beach is quiet and beautiful. Really couldn't ask for more. Staff helped arrange transportation into downtown Placencia as well as tours of the surrounding area. Highly recommended.Posted on Google

Katie Teare242 days agoIn January, I had the most amazing trip here! Everyone who worked here was so nice!!! It felt like everyone genuinely wanted you to be there. I went with a friend of mine and we couldn’t have felt more comfortable, at ease, and cared for. The room was so clean, the washer/dryer was incredibly convenient, and if we did need anything, it was incredibly easy. I could not recommend this hotel more! Fred and his team are friendly, welcoming, professional and go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable and attended to. The hotel is brand new and modern with all the best amenities. The restaurant has a gorgeous view of the ocean. The beach has white sand. The rooms are spacious and classy. Everything was perfect. Above all, Fred and the staff made sure we had everything we wanted to have a great time. I couldn't have asked for more and I'd definitely stay there again! Shout out to the kitchen and bar team, especially Nick, who took great care of us for all our meals at the restaurant, snacks and room service for the week. The cleaning staff is excellent and friendly and were accommodating to our schedules. We had fantastic massages on our balcony. Concierge and desk staff were responsive and super helpful for golf cart rentals, spa services, and excursion assistance. We can't wait to come back.Posted on Google

The property was exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, which made our stay comfortable and relaxing from the moment we arrived. Nesssa Orders287 days agoThe hotel is beautiful and very accommodating. We stayed in the coconut room and it was very cozy and all over great for our stay. It had a kitchen for small cooking or reheating of food etc. the outside shower was one of our favorite parts of the hotel. The beach is clean and accessible and overall a great view. I would 100% recommend this hotel for your stays but the only part we were not so favorable of was the breakfast that was included. Mainly because it consists of yogurt, a cinnamon roll and fruit with a juice of choice. Just for our preference we expected a bit more but if that is not an issue for you then this hotel is going to be great for your stay in Belize!Posted on Google

Can't beat the location because it's literally right on the water, all you have to do for food is walk up stairs and there's a restaurant that makes great food and even better drinks. Steve308 days agoStayed here 3 nights November 2025. We got picked up at airport and taken to hotel bout 10 min north . We was greeted and given a welcome drink. Beautiful hotel and amenities. Beach, pool and roof bar. Rooms super modern.. food was absolutely delicious. Our last night meal was fabulous had super 3 courses.. was hard what to choose. But the pepper poppers was favourite , and are quality as all of the food from 3 days was.. views are great. Chilled vibes. Staff great especially Clifford the driver and Diego the maintenance guy. Super nice guys . We had hotel bikes to ride into the main point south beware it's a long old cycle esp in heat. Also loved the kayaks we spent ages out in sea. Fantastic even see some white crabs and loads jellyfish. Was very difficult to leave. Thanks to everyone ... Amazing+9Posted on Google
David Stocker308 days agoGorgeous brand new small hotel on perfectly groomed stretch of beach with some of the best accommodation we have stayed in. Our suite was huge with exceptional views and both indoor and outdoor spaces are fantastic. Pools everywhere. Brand new kayaks and paddle boards. We took the kayaks out and were rewarded with two manatees who surfaced right next to us. Super experience. Staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They can rent you a golf cart if you fancy a trip out to explore. They also have bikes. Rooftop restaurant and bar have lovely ocean views. Owl Snowy313 days agoWe stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and our stay was amazing. Rooms are new, clean, has its own mini kitchen. Everything, including amenities is brand new, sparkling clean. The room ( Palmetto Studio) was very cozy and smartly designed. Service was awesome, they acted like our personal concierges. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Beach was clean and well maintained. I liked everything so far. They have a rooftop restaurant in site which serves amazing brick oven pizza!Highly recommend Villas at Playa De Coco!Posted on Google
